Errands
Service available on best effort basis to UK postal areas TW7 and TW8
- Monday to Friday between 20:00 (8PM) and 00:00 (midnight)
- Saturday and Sunday all day
Price is made up of:
- per shop fee of £1 per shop visited
- transaction fee of 10% of the value of the items purchased at that shop
- service fee of 1.69% charged on the funds provided
- money handling fee of £1
Service fee is waived if payment is made by cash or bank transfer.
Money handling fee is waived if payment is made by bank transfer.
Transaction fee is reduced to 5% if proof of current income related benefit is displayed on delivery, valid for delivery address for 12 months from the date of display.
Procedure:
- Email order to YmlhbmNhLnVyYW51c0BnbWFpbC5jb20= with subject "Errand ERRAND_ID PAYMENT_METHOD" where ERRAND_ID is the current date and time in format YYMMDDHHMM (ie ) and PAYMENT_METHOD is one of CASH, CARD, or BANK
Include in the email
- the shops to be visited and the items to be collected from those shops
- - please be as clear and specific as possible
- - the shops must all be in the TW7 or TW8 postal area
- delivery address
- - the delivery address must be in the TW7 or TW8 postal area
- telephone number
For payment by bank transfer, also include in email sort code and account number where you want any excess funds to be transferred to, and transfer funds to trust account sort code MzAtOTItODM= and account number MjUzMjEzNjA= with the ERRAND_ID as the reference.
For payment by cash or card, funds will be collected before the shops are visited.
Order confirmation phone call will be made when the email is received indicating whether funds have been received (in the case of bank transfer), or to make arrangements to collect funds if they have not been received (in the case of cash or card).
Funds will be collected (in the case of cash or card).
Requested items will be purchased from requested shops using the funds provided on a best effort basis.
Items will be delivered.
Receipts for items from shops will be provided. (Itemised receipts will be requested.)
Fees will be taken out.
Excess funds will be returned using the same payment method as they were provided.
